Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to book?
Studio space is limited, so it makes things easier if you can book your table. We do accept walk-ins during quieter periods, but you may need to wait for a table to become available. Call or message to check availability on the day.
How much will the session cost?
To book your table, we take a deposit of £5 per person. This is then redeemable against items you paint on the day. Each item is individually priced and there are no extra fees.
Can I take home what I've painted on the day?
Technically yes...but it won't look very good. The colours only come to life after being fired in the kiln. If you're not able to collect at a later date, please speak to us about postage options.
Can I leave my children with you to paint?
All children are welcome to paint, but all under 12s must be supervised by an adult. Over 12s are welcome without direct supervision, but we ask that an adult make the booking and leave contact details in case of an emergency.
I don't want to paint, can I sit and watch?
Space is limited in the studio, so we ask that only one non-painter accompanies each painter during busy sessions. In quieter periods we may have space for you to sit and have a cuppa but can't guarantee a table will be free.
Can I bring my dog?
YES PLEASEFurry friends are always welcome, we have water and treats available and will happily stop to pet them.
Can you help me get my baby's hand/foot prints?
Absolutely, we understanding juggling caring for little ones and getting their prints can be tricky so we're on hand to help get the keepsakes you're after and add any finishing touches you're unable to, just ask!
Can I actually use what I've painted?
Yes! The glaze is food safe, so items you paint aren't limited to being decorative only, but they do need to be treated with extra care. We recommend gently washing by hand straight after use, not letting soak in water or put in the dishwasher or microwave.
I'm away next week so can't pick up my items, will you keep them?
Your items will be kept safe for 30 days after painting. If you are unable to collect by this point we will unfortunately have to dispose of them as space is limited. If you have left contact details with us, we will try to contact you again before this happens to arrange collection or postage.
